PDG’s survey department specializes in offering boundary and topographic survey as well as laser scanning services for a variety of clients, including state agencies and many local city, town, and county municipalities. Our team consistently delivers reliable survey data to support our buildings and transportation divisions with their projects, providing the foundation of planning, engineering, and construction. To keep pace with the A/E industry’s advancement in technology, our firm has made investments in both terrestrial laser scanning and small unmanned aerial systems (sUAS; aka drones), and a DJI Inspire 2 quadcopter sUAS with a 20MP camera. This 3D data capture technology is faster, more detailed, and more accurate than traditional methods.
