Harrison Day was promoted to Engineer in our Bridge Inspection Group. Harry joined PDG in 2022 as a Junior Engineer after graduating with a BS in Civil Engineering from the University at Buffalo. Since then, Harry has exhibited a sincere work ethic and has advanced his capabilities both in the office and in the field (being an avid outdoorsman, he has had no issue tackling the latter challenge). He has worked as an Assistant Team Leader (ATL) with numerous teams and on a wide variety of Bridge Inspection contracts. Harry has passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam and is on track to become a Professional Engineer, with the intention of becoming a Bridge Inspection Team Leader.
Mohamed Elmasry was promoted to Senior Network & Systems Engineer. Mohamed joined PDG as an Intern in 2018 and earned his MS in Telecommunications Engineering Technology from RIT in 2019. Over the years, he has demonstrated a strong focus on protecting our network by obtaining certifications in Cyber Security (ISC2) and CCNA Cyber Ops, and effectively applying his knowledge to upgrade our email servers, virtual environment, and storage systems, as well as replacing the legacy firewalls.
Raymond Hilly was promoted to Project Engineer, Bridge Design, in our Transportation Design Group. Ray joined PDG in 2020 after interning with us in 2019. He holds a BS in Civil Engineering and an MS in Structural and Earthquake Engineering from the University at Buffalo. During his time with the company, he has proved to be an integral part of the Bridge Design team and has played a key role on numerous bridge design and bridge inspection projects. He has also contributed greatly to the continued growth and success of PDG’s New York City office and earned his Professional Engineering License in New York in 2024. In his new role, Ray will be responsible for leading bridge design projects and providing training and guidance to junior engineers.
Amelia Kanner was promoted to Engineer, Bridge Design, in our Transportation Design Group. Amelia joined PDG in 2022 as a Junior Engineer after graduating with a BS in Civil Engineering from Clarkson University. Amelia has proved to be a valuable member of the bridge design team and has worked on numerous projects, including the NYSDOT Region 3 Culvert Replacement project and the South Grand Island Bridge Rehabilitation project. In her new role, she will be responsible for carrying out bridge design work and providing guidance to junior engineers. Amelia has passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam and is on track to become a Professional Engineer.
Evie Lewis was promoted to Assistant Group Manager, Construction Inspection. Evie joined PDG in 1998 as part of our Bridge Inspection Group. Since joining our Construction Inspection Group in 2016, she has been instrumental in helping manage projects and support inspectors. In addition to her current responsibilities, Evie will be involved with tracking project budgets, reviewing and executing agreements, and assisting with overall management of the CI Group in her new role.
Tenzin Lobsang was promoted to Team Leader, Bridge Design, in our Transportation Design Group. Tenzin joined PDG in 2023 and is a licensed Professional Engineer with over eight years of experience in bridge design. He has experience with bridge replacements, rehabilitations, load ratings, and inspections and has led and assisted on projects of varying complexities for multiple agencies such as NYSDOT, MNR, LIRR, CTDOT, and MBTA. Since joining PDG, he has played a vital role on numerous projects, including the I-81 Viaduct, the South Grand Island Bridge Rehabilitation, and the Astoria Blvd Bridge Rehabilitation. In his new role, Tenzin will be responsible for leading the New York City bridge design team.
Scott Loforte was promoted to Engineer, Bridge Design, in our Transportation Design Group. Scott joined PDG in 2022 as a Junior Engineer after graduating from the University at Buffalo with a BS in Civil Engineering. During his time with PDG, he has proved to be a valuable member of the bridge design team and has worked on numerous projects, including the I-81 Viaduct, the NYSTA Roadside Safety Improvements, and numerous local bridge and culvert replacements. In his new role, he will be responsible for carrying out bridge design work and providing guidance to junior engineers. Scott has passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam and is on track to become a Professional Engineer.
