PDG Presents Virtually at the Twenty-Sixth Statewide Conference on Local Bridges

Mark Laistner, PE, PDG’s Director of Bridge Design, had the pleasure of presenting our Franklinville Bridge No. 22 Replacement project with William Fox, PE, from Cattaraugus County and Mike Savino, PE, one of PDG’s Project Engineers. The presentation discussed the project background, site characteristics, structure type selection, geotechnical considerations, hydraulic modeling, rigid frame analysis, and the construction of the bridge.

Ben Beardsley, PE, PDG’s Manager of Bridge Design, presented our Schad Road Bridge project with Wyoming County’s Highway Superintendent, Todd Gadd. The presentation discussed the replacement of the Schad Road Bridge over Red Brook. The project ran as smooth as possible and the Bridge-NY Program provided funding for the project.

Two of PDG's bridges were also selected for the 2021 Local Bridge Calendar. Franklinville Bridge No. 22 was selected for the cover and North Division Street was selected for the month of February.
