David Jenkinson Promoted

PDG is pleased to announce the promotion of David Jenkinson, PE, to Manager, Bridge Design.

David has over 17 years of experience and joined PDG in 2014 as a Project Engineer in the Bridge Design Department. During this time, he has played a key role in the design of numerous bridges for the firm, including the North Division Street Bridge in the City of Auburn, Maiden Lane over Round Pond Creek in the Town of Greece, and the NYS Thruway (I-90) over CSX in Syracuse. He earned his Professional Engineering License in New York in 2016 and was promoted to Team Leader, Bridge Design in 2021. David was also an Association for Bridge Construction and Design (ABCD) Board Member and served as President in 2021.

His current responsibilities include leading PDG’s structural design work on Phase 1 of the I-81 Viaduct Replacement Project in Syracuse and the Astoria Boulevard Bridge over the BQE in New York City. In his new role, David will focus on bridge design projects and business development in the NYC Metro Area.
